We have legacy clients where we did not charge catchup for the accounts. We also might have a commercial reason for including a year end say the day before the start of the proposal in this year's invoices and payments.
We can now not use key dates for renewals for these clients.
For example year end 31/7/22 and Proposal start date 1/8/22.
It could be a warning. And allow an override instead of just stopping you doing it.
My concern with this is that the paragraph in the engagement letter states that the Start Date in the proposal is the fallback start date of the engagement.

The date that we have agreed to start providing the individual agreed services is set out in the key dates schedule below or if not provided here, the start date of this proposal.
