Scenario we just had: Multiple signatories required, the primary client had already signed electronically and we were waiting on the second that was not as experienced using tech.
Of Note - It was later discovered that settings on his apps were preventing him from clicking the "Approve" button in the email or the one in the PDF of the Proposal. I assume it was likely something a family member had done to prevent him from getting hacked through phishing/spam. However this was the process we went through and the work-around I had hoped existed, we could not find.
When we went into the Dashboard, the Proposals Tab - and under Status clicked on Signatures. In the ensuing window, we were able to choose "Resend Email" part of the dashboard. However, this didn't solve his issue as the email was the same and only had the button and a text hyperlink, but not the actual URL he could copy.
So being a mini-tech nerd myself, I thought I would try to get the source fields and URL link for him and send that. I went and clicked "view proposal details" and went to the "email content" tab.
I hovered over the button and link in the email

using Google Chrome, right-click, Copy link address, and paste into an email to send him.
The issue discovered was that the field for "signatory=" was not the one that would work to allow him to approve and sign. In fact, in running a test to provide details for this suggestion, I found out that the URL visible to our firm is the primary signatory only.
If you follow the link after the primary signatory has already signed you get the image attached.

We tried "Proposal-View-Documents-View Proposal PDF" but it was the same link, taking us to the same page.
So we started thinking about the "OnTheSpot™ Acceptance" option we see when we create the proposal. Maybe we could get him to come in to sign.
If you hover over "OnTheSpot™ Acceptance" when originally created, you get the URL for the primary signatory only.
(ProposalCreated.PNG)
So the only way to get there was to go "Proposals-Actions-Edit" the Proposal.
It pulls in the same information from the previous one, but when you "Send" the proposal it creates a new version. As a result, (correctly) resets the signatures because it might have been edited. Unfortunately, this means all parties have to sign all over again.
Needless to say, this would not be a good work around either.
SUGGESTION:
In addition to a "Resend Email" button (image attached)
(Resend-Email.PNG)
What about having two more options?
Resend URL
Where instead of the button, their specific "signatory=" URL is sent for them to copy/paste into a browser.
OnTheSpot™ Acceptance
But this time, with their "signatory=" specific code in the URL in case they decided to come into the office to sign after the fact and we don't want to make everyone else re-sign.

Lastly, an additional suggestion would be to have a "Confirm Email Address" enter screen come up when you use any of the Resend Email, URL, or Acceptance buttons.
This will allow the ability to adjust the email address if there was a typo in the first Proposal where signatories have already signed, except for the one with the typo - who has not received it at all.
Hi Cory, this is being looked at and will be implemented.
Also bring back the old proposal interface for line items and summaries.
