Contacts hub should have the ability to add separate contact fields per type, with associated email addresses, per client. This is because we find many clients have a different contact for approving the proposal (such as a Company Director) to whom they wish their monthly invoices to be sent to (such as an accounts@ email) and as it stands at the moment the contact hub email keeps overwriting our accounting software's contact email address for whom invoices are to be sent to when it auto generates these each month which we see as a fundamental flaw.
Support tell us that the email address used for invoices, seeing as we have auto invoicing switched on, is the one that was used when we created the proposal. The suggested workaround that proposal approvers set up an email forward for their invoices doesn't go far enough, and the client shouldn't have to pay the price for which software we have chosen to use, so the ability to create different contact types is required or alternatively the ability to stop GP overwriting our accounting softwares invoicing contact in the settings.
