It would be good to still get a WAHOO your proposal has been signed even if a client doesn't setup a direct debit as may have other means of making payment. We seem to be loosing sight of who is signing on those that haven't committed to the direct debit as the emails are not coming through so unable to track without doing manual checks so an email to say it's been signed and accepted but no direct debit would be good!
