We complete tax returns for multiple trusts and whenever a proposal is prepared then the options for entity type are Limited Company - Sole Trader - Partnership - Individual.
There are clearly line items and engagement scopes within GP for trusts so GP is aware the firms need to do trust tax returns but the very basic element of the proposal has to be wrong. A trust is none of those entities and so all propsals that we do for trusts are wrong. This very basic but fundamental error is the final straw for our firm and we will be moving over the engager next year after using GO for many years,
